By using this website, emailing us, or placing an order with us over the telephone you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
Order Cancellations
Orders are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Orders canceled after the product has shipped will be treated as a return.
Customized products including but not limited to leather lift chairs, upgraded fabrics such as Brisa, heat and massage lift chairs, all 500 lb and 600 lb. capacity lift chairs, and custom scooters, may not be returned or canceled once the item is in production. All Sales Final
Returns
Returnable items will be accepted for return within 10 days of receipt. Lift Chairs are NOT Returnable or Refundable once they have been delivered per the manufacturers' policies. You are responsible for all shipping costs and a 25% restocking fee. Parts returns are addressed below under "Parts". Returns will only be accepted if accompanied by a validated return authorization number, which must be displayed on the outside of the return packaging. Contact service@liftchair.com to request a return authorization number. By using the return authorization number you are declaring that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein. Some items are not returnable as stated below.
A Return Address is provided in your return authorization email with your mandatory return authorization number. Returns shipped back to our shipping address and / or returns without a return authorization number will not be credited. You must obtain a return authorization number via email to receive credit for a return. Use of the Return Authorization Number acknowledges your acceptance of the terms of the return authorization email and our posted terms and conditions.
Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 15 to 30 days once the returned item has been verified to be in 100% saleable condition. Restocking and cancellation fees will be deducted from the refund amount. Returns that are received in a fashion other than authorized in the return authorization e-mail and those returned in poor condition will incur reductions from the refund amount. Refunds will be paid to the original credit card or method with which the order was placed. If the order was paid via check, a check will be mailed to you. Banking institutions vary in the time they take to post credits to your account. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement. Electric Parts are not refundable. See Parts Below.
Parts Shipping Policy:
Parts Orders will take 1-4 working days to process. After an order has been processed, it will ship according to your shipping selection. Parts Outbound and Inbound freight charges are not refundable unless your order was filled with a non-compatible replacement part.
Parts Shipping Policy for Canada:
Parts shipped to Canada are most often shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The approximate time frame for delivery is 7 to 14 working days for in stock items.

Customized Built to Order Lift Chairs such as Brisa UltraLeather, Valor Urethane, Heat and Massage, Footrest Extension, Non-Standard Fabrics, and other custom options on lift chairs take approximately 4 to 6 weeks production time, depending on production time for specific models. 500 lb and 600 lb Heavy Duty Bariatric Lift Chairs take approximately 5 to 8 weeks production time.
If you are in a rush please email us your height and weight, the desired fabric and options and the model number of the lift chair you want to service@liftchair.com and we will do our best to accomodate you.
Transit time from the manufacturer to your home may vary between 2 to 7 days. White Gloves in home set up may take an additional 3 to 10 days and usually comes with a specialized setup service company rather than the Freight Line. Deliveries are made M-F during regular business hours. Remote location deliveries may take a few days longer. You will receive a phone call from the Freight Line or White Gloves Set-Up Company prior to the delivery of your lift chair to schedule your delivery.

WE offer expert email, chat, and telephone support to help you chose the best lift chair for your needs and comfort. We provide accurate brochures and specification sheets from service@liftchair.com. Though we cannot absolutely guarantee comfort and fit, we have an excellent track record of happy and repeat lift chair customers since 1988 Online. We have parts and repair help for any lift chair we sell.
All Golden Technologies and Omnia Leather Lift Chairs are NOT Returnable or Refundable once they have been delivered per manufacturers' policies. Lift Chair sales are All Sales Final. Problems with your lift chair that arise after delivery will be handled per the manufacturer's generous and reasonable warranties that come with your chair. inbound and outbound freight charges, White Gloves in-home delivery set up charges, and White Gloves in-home return pick up and pack charges are not refundable.
Specifications for options and fabric selections are subject to minor changes. Sizing can vary depending on component version, fabric used, filling, and construction technique. All measurements are made on a concrete floor with metal rulers. All new lift chairs are overstuffed and will take about 30 days to break in and soften up and shape to your body for maximum comfort. This break in period is especially noticeable with Top Grain Leather and Leather Alternatives such as Valor Urethane and Brisa UltraLeather coverings that do not yield as much as cloth coverings.
Customized lift chairs may not be returned. Customized lift chairs include but are not limited to those with vinyl fabric, non-standard fabric, Brisa UltraLeather, leather upholstery, custom dimensions, heat and massage, and other custom options. All Sales Final
Parts
Please report any damages within 24 hours of receipt of your part by sending us a photo of the damaged box prior to opening and the damaged part to service@liftchair.com.
Be careful not to drop heavy motors as you may crack the hexagonal dust cap on the motor. The motor will function normally with a cracked dust cap. We will replace the dust cap only if available.
We are a parts distributor. All warrantied products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty if available not by Liftchair.com. If you need to replace a part purchased from us, we will discount the replacement part within 12 months by 33% for motors and 50% for hand controls and other electronic parts.

Parts sent in for repair, replacement, and exchange must be in new, uninstalled condition. You are responsible for all shipping costs pertaining to a return or exchange. You assume all responsibility in the event that an incorrect product is ordered. Parts shipped may vary in appearance to their product image, but will be similar in operation. Any parts that are accepted back on a return authorization are subject to a restocking fee of 35% for non-electric parts and 50% for electric parts such as hand controls because they must be re-sold as used parts at a discount. You agree to install the part per your lift chair manufacturer's recommendations. You agree not to hold Liftchair.com responsible for any damages or liability that arise during the installation of parts. If you decide to buy a new lift chair within one year of parts purchases we will allow two discounts by crediting you half of what you spent on parts plus our best coupon off on a new lift chair or power recliner.
